Anorexia Light Headed

Fantasiencia

Inspired by a post put up by Andrea buzz, I feel free to leave the disbelievers a personal list of my favorite science fiction TV series et.

list them in descending order, that is preferred by the me-like-but-not-sell-my-brother-for-an-autograph many, portroppo, are unknown in Italy ...

I'm curious: insults aside, there is something that I missed? Have you discovered something new with this post?

TV
  • Star Trek - The Next Generation : Captain Picard explores the galaxy with the Enterprise; episodes unrelated to each other, interesting stories, deep point right and with outstanding graphics for the age (years 80-90). Mythical symbol!
  • Star Trek - Voyager : the most advanced in the timeline of Star Trek, a vessel lost in the galaxy, similar to the TNG.
  • Farscape: a sentient ship with a strange crew, including a land of the twentieth century.
  • Firefly: a series canceled too soon ...
  • Stargate Atlantis: The mythical city of Atlantis exists, and is reached through a stargate.
  • Stargate SG1: one of the longest-running science fiction series, ten years of operation, a team of soldiers traveling in space using a ring that creates tunnels between planets away.
  • Star Trek - Deep Space Nine : nice the last few seasons, excellent super fights, but the former is boring.
  • Star Trek - Enterprise : disappointing compared to the rest of Star Trek, but it's still Star Trek :-) The code there are several references to the human ability to travel ... recognize them all?
  • Futurama: If you do not know, do not deserve to read the rest. In the video I made, they take the piss the French!
  • Stargate Universe: Stargate leads to a ship traveling to the limits of the universe.
  • Heroes: sci-fi series "contemporary"
  • Space 1999: old science fiction series Italian-English, but excellent, the Moon is hurled from Earth and begins to roam the area. Excellent code!
Books
  • Asimov - Foundation Cycle: If you do not know, be ashamed!
  • Asimov - Select a robot (even if some extremists might try to add it to the above): brilliant detective stories
  • Asimov - all the rest :-)
  • Orson Scott Card - Ender's Cycle: the story of a boy prodigy is used to ditruggere of invading aliens, very good story, I was going to put it on top of Asimov --- like him, the main character solves problems that seem insurmountable with shiny brilliance.
  • Orson Scott Card - Bean Cycle: parallel story to Ender cycle
  • Harry Turtledove - the invasion cycle: during the Second World War, the land is invaded by aliens, only that they expected to find men in armor, and are not prepared for the rapid evolution of human technology. Excellent interaction with historical figures of the time!
  • Harry Turtledove - Cycle of colonization: the aliens living on earth, which have partially conquered.
  • Orson Scott Card - Homecoming cycle: an exploration of the Earth.
  • Douglas Adams - Hitchhiker Guide to the Galaxy Cycle: funny, to read!
  • Michael Crichton - various! Movies from books were horrible, but as the author is very good.
I know, there's the original Star Trek series ... but I never liked that much :-)

Consultants companies? NO MORE '

Today I had the Midas 0900 to meet with the consultant in a company that deals with finding financing from European funds for companies.

Arrive at 0850 and he was already out the door, apparently arrived at 0830. Strange. I greet him, introduce myself and looks at me with an expression incredulos, like saying "but I have to speak with him??"

I offer him a cup of coffee but has already taken, go to the office, he began to tell me the vaguest details and then asks me how many members are there in our company because "I'm doing a live advice, you know," that strange question. .. but it is no secret, I tell him and me "but can then make a decision?"

I do not understand, who wants to take that decision? I kindly note that the decisions of this type takes the Board of Directors, and certainly not to decide on the spot, but that it should be paid to the Board.

Would you believe? He got up and went away.

never seen such a thing, but at least:
  • I learned a lesson (which I should already know): never make appointments without having a clearly defined topic;
  • I'm only three minutes of my time.
I only regret not having the name of his company, but only her. I would have gladly asked for a bit insulting '...

Panasonic 254 Difference

TeleTu? I do not think ...

I asked someone to TeleTu (formerly Tele2) to receive an offer on the telephone traffic.

I asked if they had the service for Automatic Search ... the operation was silent for a second, then he said "wants to ADSL?".

short, did not know what it was, Did I said when I said it did not provide the service, I said "then I'm sorry, but this service is vital for us."

TeleTu Operator response: I put the phone down in the face.

If this is the professionalism demonstrated to call a company, I'd say do not make a good impression.
