Tacony Palmyra Flea Market Closed

New York - Day 2

The alarm clock is set for 0830 of honest and committed to Valentino, but in fact George and Andrew would be ready to wake up at 0700; to the 0430 call someone's cell phone Giorgio: unknown number, you can not even call to insult him then.

We have breakfast with Valentino, who then go to university to administer a test of his Calculus III (terrified) students, we are in agreement to meet again for lunch.

Take the subway near Ground Zero, first visiting the little park that is nearby and the town hall.

Ground Zero is a huge site in turmoil, with several cranes and officers of the Police checking for the most chaotic traffic around the area.
As you can see very explosive used to demolish and remove the ruins.
We also visit the church that's in front of Ground Zero, one of the oldest buildings in the city and now almost entirely dedicated to the memory of first responders.

continue up to Wall Street, where we see the building of the bag, outside there is a TV crew accompanied by a guy in pajamas with two dogs on a leash: mystery ...
walk from Wall Street to Battery Park, where you can catch a ferry to the Statue of Liberty, now it's late, and we choose to go there later.
then begin to climb back up to Union Square, where we enter a Barns & Noble store to shop: Buy Nicholas excellent Bible (with the tiny, to avoid confusion with a widely used text of the same name:-P)

Back we go to Columbia to recover Valentino from his office and decide to eat at a Thai restaurant ($ 8 for lunch), the place is quite nice, there is only inhibited the ability to mimic Sheldon ordering ravioli steam because they are finished. However, we eat very well.
Now salute Valentino, who is to act at a time in Boston.
We choose to dispose of the room by walking along Central Park, we do not find the lady of pigeons [see Mama I losing a plane], and we discover that we are walking against the majority of riders.
The park is big and beautiful, they go out just to go in front of the Guggenheim Museum.

Take the subway and get off at the beginning of Brooklyn and from there we walk to the famous bridge to hiking. Finding the entrance
walkway is not trivial, it is well hidden: the building must be left to starboard of the Red Cross, to enter into an underpass and then take a splitting knife in the wall on the left.

The view is great and the walk is pleasant, we do a lot of pictures, and the skyline at night is worthy of many photos.
After the bridge we are again close to the City Hall, we go to a Starbuks close to Pace University to have a snack (George takes a VERY Chai tea).
Near us are seated two girls, A and B. A is very nice, a bit B 'less. Nicola looks insistently A, while George Andrea and hope that A and B can not understand the comments that Nicholas is doing, go away and after a while 'B back in and tells Nicole: "Do you remember my friend?" She asked me to tell you That you're awesome. " Answer: "I know that."
But it ends there, apparently we are not "wing man" capable.
Nicola haunt us all the time next to this meeting ...

Let's Penn Station to visit the Macy's department store that leaves everyone disappointed, and B & F, the electronics store.
This is a strange store: All the clerks are Orthodox Jews, dressed accordingly ... and with good prices!

passing nearby (about 1730) we find a row of boys between 20-25 years in a row in front of a cinema: they are waiting for the premiere of Harry Potter 7, by first showing at 00:01. Of course all sold out, and these crazy waiting in line to get a nice place.

For dinner we go to Tom's Restaurant, famous because it hosted the television series Seinfeld (who honestly can not remember), however, is a classic American diner we eat decently well.
George and Andrew managed to convince Nicholas to return home, where we watch the last episode of The Big Bang Theory.

a general note: the subway system has a bad for the entry and exit: the same turnstiles may be used without distinction for both operations, namely: the strongest wins.
